Maasai Mara Migration Safari

A Safari that starts in Nairobi and culminates at the Amazing Masai Mara. It’s worth everything.

You will be picked up from Nairobi Airport on arrival by our representative and delivered to
La Maison Royale Hotel in Nairobi, where you are booked on bed and breakfast.

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara

Leaving Nairobi after breakfast, you’ll travel towards Kenya’s fertile highlands and head
down the Rift Escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II.
Look for the charming chapel they built at the foot of the escarpment. You’ll pass the
impressive Longonot earth satellite station as you head across the Valley to Narok, and then
travel across acres of wheat and barley, before you reach the Maasai Mara and your camp in
time for lunch. There will be an afternoon game drive.

Your first full day in the Mara. You are woken with a pre-dawn tea, coffee and biscuits
before you set out on our drive at 6:00 am to photograph in the best light of the day. After a
break for a picnic breakfast, we continue until about midday, depending on animal activity.
Then it’s back to camp for lunch, rest, editing or backing up your images. Then at 4:00 we
head out for our afternoon drive as on the previous day.

Day 2 – 6: Maasai Mara

Our first full day in the Mara. You are woken with a pre-dawn tea, coffee and biscuits before you set out on our drive at 6:00 am to photograph in the best light of the day. Day 7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

You have time for a 2-hour morning drive before returning to camp at 8:30 for breakfast then at 11:00 am check out of the Camp and proceed to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. You will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
