Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the most popular national parks in Kenya. It is famous for being host to vast colonies of flamingoes that shelter on the shores of Lake Nakuru. The park comprises of two habitats; the lake and a savannah grassland which hosts a variety of other wildlife. This park is host to a prolific birdlife as there is presence of over 400 species of birds. Because of this, it was declared a bird sanctuary and measures were put in place to protect these birds.
